• The candidate must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

OR

• Foreign graduates in medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and gynaecology whose qualifications are recognised by the Health Professions Council of South Africa.

AND

• The candidate must have completed internship, with at least another 15 months clinical experience.
• Portfolio (1100 notional hours altogether)

Exit Examination: 1 online written paper; OSCE and portfolio of 1 100 notional hours.

THIS EXAMINATION WILL IN FUTURE ONLY BE OFFERED ONCE ANNUALLY DURING THE FIRST SEMESTER SET OF EXAMINATIONS FROM THE FS 2019.
